Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform incorporated in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Interesting choice.
What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a broker that launched in March 2026, the breadth is not narrow.
Platforms
You get: MT5, cTrader, and a browser platform. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both matters. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on a MetaQuotes platform before, there are no surprises.
cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. Plenty of traders prefer it once they try it.
FIX API is available for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is said to be coming. That would make the platform set when it lands.
Costs
Three account types: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your all-in cost can be under half a pip. That is cheap for a broker with $0 to start. Most brokers that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker has no minimum.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
This is the area where this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers run 100ms to 300ms.
Does this affect you? If you trade small timeframes, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you probably will not feel it. What matters is the setup is serious. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Pair that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
Here is the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup costs real money. Scam brokers do not bother with proper execution infrastructure. This does not make it safe. But inform your assessment.
The deal: you give up tier-1 protection. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
